On Monday, the Indian men’s hockey team defeated South Korea 3-2 in a hard-fought battle at the Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in the Asian Champions Trophy.
Therefore, given how the first 45 minutes of the game had gone, India’s fourth-quarter performance was unexpected and out of character. They were quick to win balls back, inventive in attack, and patient against a Korean team that defended deep in their half.
