Hardik Pandya and Mumbai Indians are keen for a turn in their luck in the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season. The five-time champions have registered four defeats from their first five matches, and the franchise will face Axar Patel’s Delhi Capitals next at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. In the lead-up to the crunch match, Hardik Pandya made good his promise to Kashvee Gautam.
Kashvee Gautam’s Admiration for Hardik
For the novice, Kashvee Gautam came into limelight with her experience with Gujarat Giants in Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025. Kashvee Gautam idolizes Hardik Pandya, and at one of the WPL matches, she requested the India all-rounder for his bat.
In their encounter, Kashvee shared with Hardik how she had patterned her game after the swashbuckling all-rounder and even signed HP33 on her bat. Pandya was awed by this news and vowed he would tear one of his bats to 1100 grams, the same weight as Kashvee’s original bat and present it to her.
Harleen Deol Plays the Connector
Gujarat Giants sensation Harleen Deol introduced Kashvee to Hardik Pandya, stating that the young girl is a huge and die-hard fan of the India all-rounder. Hardik then assured Kashvee that he would gift her a bat and hand it over to her later.
Kashvee Gautam has received her first call-up to the Indian women’s team for this year’s World Cup, which will be hosted in India.

The 31-year-old then handed Kashvee a bat, saying, “You play with this bat. If you like it, let me know. Please enjoy. Do well, play for India.”
