Karnataka’s Divya T.S. emerged the winner in the Women’s 10m Air Pistol T6 in the national shooting trials, with a 16-12 victory over Haryana’s Rhythm Sangwan, here at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range (DKSSR) in the national capital.
However, Rhythm held her own in the Youth and Junior Women’s Air Pistol T6 category to land a grand double.
Earlier, Neha of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.) had topped the qualifying field in the Women’s Air Pistol with a score of 582, while Divya and Rhythm had finished second and third with 576 and 575 respectively.
In the Junior Women’s final, Rhythm beat U.P’s Divanshi Dhama 16-8 to win the gold while in the Youth final, she got past Mansi Anand, from U.P 16-2.Article 6/6
