The 3rd test match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, scheduled for March 1-5, has been shifted to Holkar Stadium in Indore. Earlier it was going to be held at HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala.
The Third Test match between India and Australia, which was scheduled to take place in the HPCA Dharamshala cricket stadium, has now been shifted to the Holkar Stadium in Indore. As BCCI has announced, due to winter conditions in Northern India, the stadium’s outfield didn’t match the grass density and will need more time to grow according to ICC rules.
BCCI said, “Owing to harsh winter conditions in the region, the outfield lacks sufficient grass density and will need some time to develop fully.” For now, India has taken a 1-0 lead in the series and will play the next match at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delh
