The 36th National Games which was scheduled to be held from 20 October 2020 to 4 November 2020 has now been postponed indefinitely due to the outbreak of Covid-19. A central assistance of Rs 97.80 has been released to the Goa government for creation/ development of sports infrastructure for 36th National Games.
The first Khelo India University Games was successfully conducted in Odisha from 22 February to 1 March 2020 with participation of 3,182 athletes from 158 universities in 17 sports disciplines.
