Stop removing context from statements, and verify your facts before reporting. Peace and love,” Athiya wrote in a story on Instagram.
A number of supporters trolling the batsman from Karnataka on Twitter alleged that Rahul went to a strip club.
KL Rahul, who recently underwent thigh surgery due to an injury he got during a league game against Royal Challengers Bangalore, is expected to remain out of cricketing activities for several months.
Rahul’s injury prevented him from playing in the remainder of the IPL season as well as the upcoming ICC World Test Championship final against Australia.
