He praised Spain for winning both the Wimbledon final, where Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic, and the UEFA European Football Championship by beating England 2-1. Despite Djokovic being his favorite, Amitabh acknowledged Alcaraz’s brilliance in victory, describing him as a young player of exceptional talent.

Amitabh’s post on X early Monday morning highlighted Spain’s celebratory mood after these victories, drawing positive responses from fans. While expressing disappointment over Djokovic’s loss, Amitabh’s sportsmanship impressed many. Bollywood celebrities like Sidharth Malhotra and Kartik Aaryan also congratulated Carlos Alcaraz on social media for his Wimbledon victory, reflecting the widespread admiration for the young tennis star.
