According to CNN, a guy was detained for sexually assaulting a female reporter while she was doing live coverage from the streets of Madrid.
According to the American-based media organization, Isa Balado, a journalist for Spain’s Cuatro channel’s “En boca de todos” show, was reporting on an alleged robbery on Tuesday.
The man allegedly approached her and was observed inappropriately groping her while the reporter was speaking with anchor Nacho Abad in the studio.
The host then asked the journalist if the man had touched her, and Abad told her to put “this stupid guy” on video. He continued to speak to her before extending out his hand to touch her head and eventually going away. Balado then went on to finish her report.
Balado addressed the incident in a subsequent video segment. “It’s very unpleasant, especially when you’re working,” she remarked before panning to show the man standing on the street with another man.
