During a cricket match between rivals India and Pakistan, emotions ran high in Karachi’s mobile phone market in Pakistan, leading to the tragic death of a YouTuber who was filming a vlog ahead of the T20 World Cup match held in New York last Sunday.
According to reports from Pakistan media, the YouTuber, Saad Ahmed, was recording videos of shopkeepers in the mobile market when he approached a security guard for an interview. The guard, however, became angry when Saad attempted to film him and place a microphone in front of him.
The security guard then shot Saad with his gun, resulting in his death. Despite being rushed to the hospital, Saad was declared ‘brought dead’.
In a news report by GeoTV, a friend of Saad’s mentioned that he was the sole breadwinner for his family.
The match between Pakistan and India ended with Pakistan’s defeat by six runs in a thrilling contest at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York.
