World’s Shortest Married Couple: Know All About Brazil’s Paulo And Katyucia

Paulo Gabriel da Silva Barros and Katyucia Lie Hoshino from Brazil have etched their names in history as the world’s shortest married couple, according to Guinness World Records.

Meeting online in 2006, the couple’s love story spans over 15 years, culminating in their recent marriage. Paulo, aged 31, and Katyucia, aged 28, embraced their unique stature and turned it into a record-breaking achievement.

Record-breaking union

Following their wedding, the duo officially became the shortest married couple globally, as confirmed by an Instagram post on the Guinness World Records page. The announcement swiftly went viral, drawing admiration and support from across the globe.

Expressing their joy and readiness to face life’s challenges together, Paulo and Katyucia shared, “We may be short, but we have big hearts and lots of love for each other and everyone in our lives. Our life isn’t without its challenges, but we are so happy we can tackle these challenges together.”

Their combined height stands at 181.41 cm (71.42 inches), with Paulo measuring 90.28 cm (35.54 in) and Katyucia measuring 91.13 cm (35.88 in).

The heartwarming news sparked an outpouring of love and well-wishes on social media. Thousands of users congratulated the newlywed world’s shortest married couple, with one commenting, “Very nice.
