Prince William And Kate Middleton Pay Tribute To Rob Burrow, England’s Rugby League player

Prince William and Kate Middleton have paid tribute to England’s Rugby League player Rob Burrow on social media following his death at the age of 41. Burrow, who was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease in 2019, passed away on Sunday.

In an emotional post on their Kensington Royal account, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge praised Burrow as a “legend of Rugby League” and noted that he “had a huge heart.” They shared Burrow’s inspiring message of daring to dream in a world full of adversity. The royal couple also extended their condolences to Burrow’s wife, Lindsey, and their three children, Jackson, Maya, and Macy.

Rob Burrow, who retired from professional rugby in 2017, began experiencing symptoms of MND, a condition that affects cells in the brain and nerves, leading to gradual changes in speech. Lindsey Burrow took on the role of caretaker for her husband, emphasizing their commitment to each other in sickness and health.

In an interview with The Sun, Lindsey expressed her determination to care for her husband without relying on medical aids, stating that she wants to maintain a sense of normalcy in their lives. She highlighted the importance of fulfilling their wedding vows and her husband’s gratitude for her care.

The heartfelt tribute from Prince William and Kate Middleton reflects the impact of Rob Burrow’s legacy both on and off the rugby field, as well as the resilience and strength shown by him and his family in the face of adversity.
