At least two individuals lost their lives, and five others sustained injuries in a roadside landmine explosion in the central Kurram area of Pakistan, as reported by ARY News. The incident occurred on Korham Road, with four of the injured reported to be in critical condition. Rescue officials from 1122 transported the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.

Earlier, another blast in Tehsil Kulachi of Dera Ismail Khan injured at least two people, including a police constable. The explosion took place on the road as the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and other police personnel were en route to their polio duty. According to police sources, the blast injured the driver of the elite forces vehicle and a constable. A bomb disposal squad promptly responded to assess the situation.

Prior to these incidents, a twin landmine blast near Thaikedar Naddi in the Duki district of Balochistan resulted in one fatality and injuries to 20 others. The first explosion occurred when a truck triggered a landmine, followed by a second blast as bystanders arrived at the scene. Police officials confirmed one death and 17 injuries from the twin blasts, with the injured receiving medical treatment at nearby hospitals.
