As Kate Middleton undergoes preventative chemotherapy following her cancer diagnosis, speculation mounts about her return to Royal duties. However, Prince William, focused on ensuring Catherine’s smooth recovery, has directed Kensington Palace to withhold further updates about her health, prioritizing her privacy.

According to a palace source speaking to New Idea, Prince William’s top concern is Princess Kate’s well-being. “He has been instrumental in maintaining strict privacy protocols around Kate.” Kate, 42, is currently residing at Adelaide Cottage with William and their three children, grateful for the time granted but determined to attend an important Royal event.

Reportedly, Kate is eager to appear on the balcony for Trooping the Colour in London on June 15, even if William disagrees with her plan. Despite his efforts to shield her from speculation, Kate feels pressured to address the rumours surrounding her absence.

After her abdominal surgery in January, Kensington Palace had stated she was unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter, a deadline she has surpassed, raising public concerns about her well-being.
