Italy: India Calls For Instant Action Against Killers Of Indian National Satnam Singh

While raising the issue of Indian national Satnam Singh’s death in Italy, India has called for instant action against those behind his death on Wednesday.

The secretary of Ministry of External Affairs (Consular Passport and Visa Division and Overseas Indian Affairs) Muktesh Pardeshi has currently discussed this matter with Italian foreign minister Luigi Maria Vignali.

Further, Pradeshi also announced, Indian Embassy is in touch with Satnam Singh’s family and will give them consular help for will assist in the Transportation of mortal remains.

Earlier, the embassy announced, that it is in touch with local establishment and efforts are underway to connect with family and will give consular assistance.

What Happened With Satnam Singh?

Indian National Satnam Singh after being abandoned on the streets. As per Flai CGIL trade union, he did not get any help from his employer and instead he was thrown on the streets like a ‘bag of rubbish near his home.’

Earlier satnam met with an accident, while working on his farm. As a result, he lost his arm.
