Asteroid 2024 LV2 Coming Towards Earth At 1 Lakh KMPH Speed, Warns NASA

US’s prestigious space agency NASA has recently warned that two big asteroids are coming towards the earth on June 11, 2024.

As per NASA scientists, it has a massive size, measuring 240 feet. Which is similar to the size of an Aeroplane!!

But what’s concerning is, that asteroid 2024 LV2 is fast in nature, and is coming towards the earth, which has prompted close monitoring by the scientists.

Moreover, this asteroid will be there within the proximity of 2.93 million miles of earth. In lay man terms, it is still far and wide. But if considered in astronomical terms, it is only within the distance of 0.031 astronomical units (au). Currently, it is coming to the earth at a fast speed of 101,642 kilometers per hour relative to earth.

Should We Worry?

Despite its fast speed, Asteroid 2024 LV2, it doesn’t pose any danger to humans and neither it is hazardous in nature. Usually, NASA tends to issue warning of those asteroids, which tend to be bigger than 150 metres and come within the 4.6 million miles (19.5 the distance from moon) and the space agency NASA also assert, that this asteroid will move past safely, having little to no affects.

However, just to be vigilant, NASA will continue to trach the asteroids.
