In a statement Shatrughan Sinha addressed the circulating rumors as “fake news” and expressed his full support for his daughter’s decision. “Tell me, whose life is it anyway? It’s just the life of my only daughter Sonakshi, whom I’m very proud of and immensely fond of,” he stated emphatically. Sinha affirmed his presence at the wedding, stating, “She calls me the pillar of her strength. I will be there at the wedding, certainly. Why shouldn’t I and why won’t I?”
He emphasized Sonakshi’s autonomy in choosing her life partner, asserting, “Sonakshi has every right to choose her partner.” Sinha also commended the couple, mentioning, “Sonakshi and Zaheer have to live their life together. They look very nice together.”
