Six associates of gangster Goldie Brar arrested in Chandigarh

District Crime Cell team AGTF, in a joint operation with Punjab Police, arrested six associates of the foreign-based gangster Goldie Brar in the Chandigarh shooting case. A motorcycle, mobile phone, and two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the accused. The arrested individual was identified as Amritpal Singh, alias Gujjar, a resident of village Kaloli, PS Banud, district Mohali. Two cases have been registered against the criminal Amritpal UFR Gujjar under Section 307 in Sohana police station, Mohali, and under the Arms Act in Police Station-City Kharar. A case is already registered against the second accused, Kamalpreet Singh, a resident of village Devinagar Abarawa, police station Banud, district Mohali, Punjab, under section 307 in police station Sohana, Mohali.

Five cases are already registered against the third accused, Prem Singh, a resident of village Amlala, police station Derabassi, district Mohali, Punjab, including three cases of fighting, one case of theft, and one case of scratching. A case has already been registered against the fourth accused, Kashi Singh, alias Harry Kashi Singh, alias Satana, a resident of village Jakhepal, Rajpura, district Patiala, Punjab, under section 307 in Police Station Shambhu, Rajpura. Two live cartridges and one motorcycle used in the crime were recovered from the fifth accused, Subham Kumar Giri, alias Pandit, a resident of Saniyarwala Mohalla, Near Hanuman Mandir, Old Bazaar, Village Banud, District Mohali, Punjab. The sixth accused was identified as Gurvinder Singh, alias Ladi, a resident of village Kartarpur, district Mohali, Punjab.

Giving information about the case, Kanwardeep Kaur SSP Chandigarh UT said that a case was registered under the Arms Act in Police Station 3 on the complaint of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Sector-05, Chandigarh. In which his residence was fired upon for extortion. An order was given to collect extortion money of Rs 2 crore on calls from an international number on his WhatsApp number. Police formed SIT regarding the case. Earlier, the teams of District Crime Cell and Police Station-03 had arrested an accused in the case, Gurvinder Singh, alias Ladi, a resident of village-Kartarpur, district Mohali.

Two live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the accused, and the motorcycle used in the crime was recovered. Police remand of accused Gurvinder Singh, alias Ladi, 3, and interrogation revealed that the other accused are Kashi Singh, alias Harry, Amritpal, alias Gurjar of Rajpura. Kamalpreet Singh, a resident of Banud, involved in the crime, has been identified. On a tip-off, the police arrested another accused, Kashi Singh, alias Harry, a resident of village Jakhepal, Rajpura, district Patiala, Punjab, from Dhanas area, Chandigarh. Accused Kashi Singh revealed during interrogation that Amritpal, alias Gujjar, had handed over the weapons.

On a tip-off, a team of District Crime Cell, Jasminder Singh, Incharge, DCC, raided village Raipur Kachechi, Bihar, and arrested the accused Shubham Kumar Giri, alias Pandit, son of Ajay Giri, a resident of Sani Wala Mohalla, Near Hanuman Mandir, Purana Bazaar, Village Banud District Mohali, Punjab, who is a permanent resident of Village Rampur Kacheri, Police Station Chaurai, District Begusarai, Bihar, aged 19 years. Village Rampur, Thana-Chudai, District Begusarai, Bihar. Accused Shubham Kumar Giri, alias Pandit, revealed that he helped Amritpal Gujjar in hiding the weapons for safety after committing the crime.

District Crime Cell team AGTF, in a joint operation with Punjab Police, and Gorakhpur Police of UP, arrested three accused associates of the foreign base. On interrogation of the main accused Amritpal, alias Gujjar, it was revealed that he is in contact with gangster Goldie Brar and works on her instructions. All three accused, Amritpal, alias Gujjar, Shamsher Singh, Kamalpreet Singh, and Prem Singh, were produced in court and taken to police remand for 4 days. Police remand of accused Amritpal, alias Gujjar, Kamalpreet Singh, Prem Singh, 2 Accused Kashi, and Shubham Giri, alias Pandit, were taken on a one-day police remand.
