Delhi is soon going to be the “City of Gardens”. The Delhi government is planning to renovate and beautify all the parks of Delhi; which will add to the beauty of the city. The Chief Minister’s Park Beautification Scheme intends to beautify all the parks in the national capital.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that Delhi will be included among the beautiful cities of the world. He said that Delhi will be made a city of gardens and appealed to the people of Delhi to take part in maintaining and beautifying the parks of Delhi. “Delhi is our pride and we will make it beautiful,” he added.

Under the campaign of making parks of Delhi beautiful, Deputy Chief Minister will visit various parks of Delhi and will access the conditions of the parks. Along with this, suggestions will also be taken from the nearby residents regarding the beautification of the parks. The Deputy CM said that Delhi is like a family and every member has an important role in making this family beautiful. He appealed to the people of Delhi by saying: “To make the parks of Delhi beautiful, we want a contribution from each and every citizen of Delhi. Let’s all contribute together in making our Delhi beautiful.”

“Delhi government is committed to making Delhi a happy and prosperous city, and beautifying all the parks of Delhi will prove to be a big step in this direction. When the citizens of Delhi visit these parks, they will get a pleasant atmosphere,” he added.

Manish Sisodia also said that the Delhi government has planned to beautify the parks of the capital to make them look as beautiful as the parks of other foreign cities. There are various plans to beautify the gardens: starting an open gym in the parks, improving walking tracks inside the garden, and planting different species of flowers, fruits, and shade plants are among the plans.
