Advance ticket sales for the Diwali films of this year: Rohit Shetty’s action- packed Singham Again and Anees Bazmee’s horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. According to a report in News18, the price of the tickets has gone up by over ₹2,500 in major metropolitan cities, including Mumbai and Delhi.

Maison PVR: Mumbai’s Jio World Drive is charging the highest sum of ₹2,700 for both Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. In Delhi’s Ambience Mall, both films are at the same price of ₹2,400 at PVR Director’s Cut.
According to The Indian Express, Singham Again is likely to open at ₹35 crore on Friday, November 1, while Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is estimated to rake in ₹25 crore on the same day in India. Advance bookings for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 had started earlier, but multiplex chains like PVR INOX and Cinepolis have opened advance bookings for both films together on Wednesday morning.
About This Year’s Diwali Releases
Both films are franchises’ third films, and the Singham Again film is the franchise of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham film franchise, as the original film by Rohit was released in 2011 and the sequel that also starred Kareena Kapoor made it to the big screens in 2014. Kareena will reprise the same role, a wife to Ajay again. Singham Again is the part of Rohit’s cop universe, starring Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, and Deepika Padukone as “Lady Singham” Shakti Shetty, and the movie also features Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Ravi Kishan, and Jackie Shroff. The movie is produced by Rohit Shetty Picturez and Reliance Entertainment and written by Milap Zaveri.
On the other hand, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 is a sequel, as the first film was made in 2007. Vidya Balan once again plays the role that had become iconic for her in the first film- Manjulika-and Kartik Aaryan plays Rooh Baba of the 2022 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Cine1 Studios and T-Series produced this third installment, featuring Madhuri Dixit, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra, and Vijay Raaz, among others.
