Sikh intellectuals from Panchkula, Pinjore, and Kalka voiced their displeasure during a meeting with Justice Bhalla, the in-charge commissioner of the Haryana Gurdwara Election Commission.

The cause of their dissatisfaction was the publication of an inaccurate voter list by the Haryana Gurdwara Election Commission. Malvinder Singh Bedi, the Shiromani Akali Dal District President in Haryana, explained that over the past months.

They had diligently submitted forms for Sikh voters in Haryana for the upcoming Gurdwara elections, processed through their respective district levels. However, the released list included non-Sikh votes, leading to frustration among the Sikh community.
Expressing their concerns to Election Commissioner Justice Bhalla, the officials emphasized the inclusion of incorrect votes and sought clarification. In response, Justice Bhalla acknowledged it as a clerical error and assured that the Commission would promptly rectify the mistake and issue a revised voter list.

The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Haryana Gurdwara Committee Head Bhupendra Singh Asandh, General Secretary Ramnik Singh Mann, Gurdeep Singh Mangiana, Sarabjit Singh, Sujendra Singh, and others.
