Washington [US], February 13 (ANI): Hollywood actor Shia LaBeouf and his legal team have reportedly responded to the sexual misconduct lawsuit filed against him by his ex-girlfriend FKA twigs.
According to the court filings obtained by E! News, the 34-year-old actor denied “each and every” allegation made by his ex-girlfriend and claimed she “has not suffered any injury or damage as a result of his actions.”
Additionally, his legal team “does not believe” that twigs is entitled to any financial relief or damages. FKA twigs in her lawsuit had alleged that she suffered “relentless abuse” in her relationship with LaBeouf, including sexual battery, assault, and infliction of emotional distress.
She said that at times during their 9-month relationship back in 2018 she even feared for her life.
According to Fox News, LaBeouf’s past is riddled with strife, as he has struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol and has had several public breakdowns, after rising to fame as a young star on Disney Channel’s ‘Even Stevens’. (ANI)

Parineeti Chopra-starrer ‘Saina’ to hit theatres on March 26
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 2 (ANI): Bollywood star Parineeti Chopra on Tuesday announced the release date of her much-anticipated sports-drama ‘Saina’, based on the life of ace shuttler Saina Nehwal. The film will hit the big screens on March 26, 2021.
The ‘Girl on The Train’ actor hopped on to Instagram and dropped the first look poster of the film. The poster, featured along with the announcement about the release date of the biopic, showcases a clear blue sky and a hand with a tricolour wrist band that is open in the air to catch a shuttlecock.
The poster read, “An incredible true story.” And a phrase “Maar Doongi” (will hit).
With the poster, Chopra wrote in the caption, “SAINA! (a racket and shuttlecock emoticon), In cinemas 26th March.”
The ‘Namaste England’ star who will be seen getting into the shoes of Indian shuttler Saina, sustained an injury on her neck, and went through four months’ rigorous training and hard work, during the making of the film.
Written and directed by Amol Gupte, the film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Sujay Jayraj, and Rajesh Shah.
Of late, the ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ actor is riding high on the success of her Netflix film ‘The Girl On The Train’. It had premiered on February 26, 2021. The film is a Hindi adaptation of the thriller-themed International bestseller book under the same name. The book was made into a Hollywood film starring Emily Blunt in the lead in 2016.
In the Bollywood version helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, Parineeti plays the eponymous girl taking the train, an alcoholic divorcee, who becomes involved in a missing person investigation and uncovers deeper secrets. (ANI)
‘Dhamaka’ teaser: Witness Kartik Aaryan in intense avatar as righteous news anchor
New Delhi [India], March 2 (ANI): The much-awaited teaser of Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s upcoming film ‘Dhamaka’ is finally out and it features the actor in a never-seen-before avatar, which will definitely pique the curiosity of viewers.
The nearly one-minute-long teaser was shared by the actor on his Instagram account. He also revealed that the movie is set to stream on Netflix exclusively, without giving away the release date.
Kartik captioned the post, “Main hoon Arjun Pathak. Jo bhi Kahunga Sach Kahunga. #Dhamaka, Coming soon, only on Netflix.”
In the intriguing teaser, the actor can be seen giving an insight into the intense, gritty, and solid character of a news anchor. Breaking away from the usually light-hearted roles Kartik ventures into the intense world of thriller cinema with ‘Dhamaka’.
The teaser sees him in a raw and rustic avatar and it is all about Kartik’s character and the way he is handling the stressful situation amidst live cameras.
The teaser of ‘Dhamaka’ promises a gripping story woven around a news anchor reporting a hard-hitting incident of a bomb-blast in realtime. In the teaser, Kartik’s character Arjun Pathak can be seen saying, “Jo bhi kahunga, sach kahunga.”
Kartik also spoke about the film and said, “Dhamaka has been a very exciting and enriching experience for me as an actor. Working with a maverick like Ram Madhvani has allowed me to explore & showcase a new facet of my personality. I am thrilled that the film will reach audiences and my fans all around the world on Netflix.”
Directed by Ram Madhvani, the thriller is being produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP Movies and Ram Madhvani Films in association with Lotte Cultureworks, Globalgate Entertainment, and Lionsgate.
Speaking about the project, the filmmaker said, “Amita Madhvani and I and our full team at Ram Madhvani Films with the team at RSVP are thrilled that our film Dhamaka will be on Netflix. We know that this is only our first step to a continuing relationship with a platform we highly respect and that will reach national and international audiences.”
He further shared, “I have been wanting to collaborate with Kartik Aaryan for some years now. And I’m thrilled he wanted to do Dhamaka. Every day Kartik gave his all to the 360-degree system with which I work. His full involvement, his passion, his precise calibration as an actor is something that I hugely respect. Earlier, the makers of ‘Dhamaka’ had unveiled the first look of the film revealing Kartik’s character Arjun Pathak. Dressed in a suit, the bespectacled journalist, with long hair with a hint of blood on himself, Kartik’s avatar intrigued the audience stirring the excitement for the film.
The film will follow a news anchor reporting a hard-hitting incident of a bomb-blast in realtime. Kartik’s character will be subjected to circumstances grappling him between tough choices, abidance to his career, or awakening the humanist within.
Apart from ‘Dhamaka’, Kartik will also feature in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and Karan Johar’s film ‘Dostana 2’. (ANI)
Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan set to make debut in romantic drama ‘Tadap’
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], March 2 (ANI): Veteran actor Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty is set to make his debut with Tara Sutaria in the upcoming outing ‘Tadap.’ The movie will hit the big screens on September 24, 2021.
Indian film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Tuesday shared the news regarding the new project on his Instagram handle.
“AHAN SHETTY – TARA SUTARIA: #TADAP ARRIVES IN SEPT 2021… #TADAP ARRIVES IN SEPT 2021… #Tadap – the acting debut of #AhanShetty [son of #SunielShetty] – to release on 24 Sept 2021,” Taran wrote.
“Costars #TaraSutaria… Remake of #Telugu film #RX100… Directed by #MilanLuthria… Produced by #SajidNadiadwala… Fox Star Studios presentation,” he added.
Along with the release date and other details, a poster of the film was also dropped which piqued the curiosity of the audience.
The poster sees Tara hugging Ahan. The duo is seen standing at a stormy place while Ahan is trying to save and keep close to Tara amid the turbulence. The poster also showcased the release date of the film and comes with a text written on it, “An incredible love story.”
The movie ‘Tadap’ is being produced under the banner of Sajid Nadiadwala’s production house and is being helmed by Milan Luthria. (ANI)
Gal Gadot announces third pregnancy with adorable family picture
Washington [US], March 2 (ANI): Hollywood actor Gal Gadot, widely known for playing the lead role in ‘Wonder Woman’ franchise, is soon going to welcome a new family member. Gadot recently revealed that she is expecting her third child with husband Yaron Varsano.
The 35-year-old star announced her pregnancy on social media on Monday. She posted an adorable family picture on Instagram, which features the actor with her husband and their daughters laying on the bed and cradling her baby bump with big smiles on their faces.
He captioned the sweet post, “Here we go again.”
Gadot and Varsano, who tied the knot in 2008, are already proud parents to two daughters- nine-year-old Alma and three-year-old Maya, reported People magazine.
The ‘Death on the Nile’ star’s pregnancy announcement comes a day after fans saw Gadot presenting Best Foreign Language Film at the 2021 Golden Globes on Sunday. However, she concealed any sign of a baby bump underneath a white Givenchy swing mini dress with flowing sleeves and a mock turtleneck during the event.
Back in September, Gadot and Varsano celebrated more than a decade of marriage, taking to Instagram to commemorate the milestone. “Happy anniversary @jaronvarsano. You’re my one. My only. My everything.. 12 years of marriage feels like a walk in the park with you. To many more to come. I’m yours forever,” she wrote.
Gadot was last seen in ‘Wonder Woman 1984’, which Warner Bros released simultaneously in theatres and OTT.
She will feature next in Zack Snyder’s ‘Justice League’ cut, which is slated to release on HBO Max this month. Apart from that, she also has Netflix film ‘Red Notice’ in the pipeline. Gadot will feature in the movie with Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds. (ANI)
TEARY-EYED CHADWICK BOSEMAN’S WIFE PICKS UP AWARD ON HUBBY’S BEHALF
WASHINGTON : As American actor Chadwick Boseman picked up a posthumous Golden Globe award, his wife Simone Ledward Boseman got teary-eyed and gave an emotional speech on behalf of the late actor.
Boseman bagged the Golden Globe award in the Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture—Drama category. Boseman won the accolade for his portrayal of Levee Green in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. The George C. Wolfe directorial marked Boseman’s final film role. With this award win, Boseman became just the second posthumous winner in the category’s history.
“He would thank God. He would thank his parents. He would thank his ancestors for their guidance and their sacrifices. DISHA PATANI STARTS SHOOTING FOR ‘EK VILLAIN RETURNS’
MUMBAI : Disha Patani on Monday started the shooting of her upcoming action drama Ek Villain Returns and shared a picture from her vanity van. The actress took to Instagram and announced the beginning of the shoot. Patani wrote in the caption, “And here we go #ekvillainreturns @mohit11481 @balajimotionpic.”
The movie boasts an ensemble star cast including John Abraham, Tara Sutaria, Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani. Earlier last year, media reports suggested that Aditya Roy Kapoor was paired opposite Tara Sutaria for ‘Ek Villain Returns’, however, now the ‘Ashiqui 2’ star has been replaced by the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actor Arjun Kapoor. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film’s first instalment was released in 2014.
