Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed strong support for Nayab Singh Saini, who has been elected as the leader of the BJP’s legislative party in Haryana. During his visit to the state as observer for the election of leader of legislative party, Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering focus on the state, highlighting the government’s commitment to welfare and good governance.
“Under Modi’s leadership, the BJP government has set a new benchmark for public welfare and governance in Haryana. I am confident that Nayab Saini will accelerate this momentum further,” Shah stated. He emphasised that the BJP aims to empower all segments of society, including farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged, with a vision of making Haryana the most developed state in India.
The Home Minister said, “This milestone is particularly significant for Haryana, as no Chief Minister has ever secured three consecutive terms for their party since the state’s establishment in the 1960s. The Bharatiya Janata Party has achieved this historic feat for the first time, marking a new chapter in Haryana’s political landscape”
“ Since Prime Minister Modi took office, the emphasis has shifted towards comprehensive state development and addressing the concerns of the populace. The BJP’s decision to contest independently in Haryana resulted in its first full majority government, reflecting a strong mandate from the people”, he added.
Accusing the opposition parties of misleading youths and spreading false information about Agnipath Scheme, Shah praised the initiative terming the Agnipath scheme, designed to strengthen and rejuvenate the Indian Army. He assured that all Agniveers would receive job opportunities with pension benefits upon completing their service. He criticized opposition parties for misleading the youth about the program’s intent.
Shah reiterated that Haryana, known for its agricultural output, remains a top priority for the Modi administration. “This is the first time since Haryana’s formation that the BJP is poised to form a government for the third consecutive term. The mandate of the people was in favor of the BJP, and all previous speculations have been proven wrong,” he asserted, reinforcing the party’s resolve to foster growth and development in the state.
Later the Union Home Minister also hailed the hike in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rabi crops, saying .
“These MSP hikes will enhance farmers’ income and ensure their prosperity. We are thankful to Modi for addressing every concern of the farming community,” he shared a post on his account X.
