A security guard of a residential community in Thaltej, Ahmedabad, is accused of beating a 21-year-old pizza delivery boy with a belt over a parking issue.

According to reports, authorities identified the victim as Nilesh Senma, a resident of Bodakdev who had been employed for the previous 1.5 years by a pizza restaurant in Thaltej.

Senma claimed that on Monday, at approximately 1.15 pm, he arrived at the society in Thaltej to deliver a pizza and parked his motorcycle in the space next to the guard’s cabin.

“When I returned, I found another scooter parked in front of my vehicle, making it tough for me to take out my motorcycle to leave the society,” said the pizza delivery agent, as reported.

Senma further told police, “When I requested the guards to help remove the scooter, one of the guards began pulling out his belt and started flogging me with it. He hit my head and I started bleeding.”

According to reports, Senma was taken to the Sola Civil hospital for treatment after the security officer dialled 108 ambulance, and a medico-legal lawsuit was later filed there, according to reports.
