CMF by Nothing has introduced a new range of wireless earbuds designed to suit different budgets and listening needs. The brand announced the arrival of three models — Buds 2, Buds 2 Plus, and Buds 2a — aiming to offer better sound quality, more features, and stylish designs for music lovers everywhere.

The new CMF Buds line-up builds on Nothing’s growing reputation in the tech world. After a strong start to 2025, the company is now turning its attention to affordable yet feature-rich audio gear, hoping to capture the interest of everyday users as well as audio enthusiasts.

CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a and Buds 2 Plus launched

At the heart of the range is the CMF Buds 2, which offers a strong balance of sound performance, comfort, and smart features. With tuning powered by Dirac Opteo™ technology, the Buds 2 promise a more dynamic and clearer sound profile. They also feature 48dB hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a Spatial Audio Effect, giving listeners an immersive music experience whether they’re commuting or relaxing at home.

For those who want an even more premium option, the CMF Buds 2 Plus step things up further. They are equipped with Hi-Res LDAC audio support, hearing compensation, and allow full customisation through an equaliser. These features help users create a personalised listening experience, ensuring the sound matches their individual preferences.

Meanwhile, the CMF Buds 2a are aimed at buyers looking for a budget-friendly entry point into the world of high-quality audio. Despite being the most affordable of the trio, they still offer impressive specifications, including 42dB ANC, a 12.4mm bio-fibre driver, and strong bass performance. Their lightweight design makes them comfortable for all-day wear.

Price and availability

Pricing has been kept competitive across the board. The CMF Buds 2a will be available for ₹2,199, the Buds 2 for ₹2,699, and the Buds 2 Plus for ₹3,299. This ensures that users with different needs and budgets can find an option that suits them without compromising too much on quality.

All three models are expected to be available across India by the end of the second quarter of 2025. They will be sold via popular online platforms like Flipkart as well as in leading retail stores.
