ASUS Unveils 2025 ROG Gaming Laptops in India: All You Need To Know

ASUS is shaking up the premium gaming laptop market in India once again with the launch of its 2025 Republic of Gamers (ROG) line-up. The latest additions include the power-packed ROG Strix Scar 16 and 18, the more streamlined Strix G16, the ultra-portable Flow Z13, and the sleek Zephyrus G14 and G16 models. With fresh silicon from Intel and AMD under the hood, these machines promise to be tailor-made for high-performance gaming, creative workloads, and everything in between.

The updated range blends top-tier specs with design enhancements aimed at gamers and content creators who refuse to compromise on style or power. Prices for the 2025 line-up start at ₹1,14,990, positioning the devices firmly in the premium category—but with specs to match.

ROG Strix Scar 16 and 18

At the top of the range are the ROG Strix Scar 16 and 18 models, which now sport Intel’s 14th Gen Core i9 processors alongside up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPUs. These laptops are all about maximum horsepower, designed for esports professionals and AAA gamers who need every last frame. The display options include blazing-fast QHD panels with refresh rates up to 240Hz, offering buttery smooth visuals.

Meanwhile, the Strix G16 offers similar performance in a slightly more accessible package, still delivering up to RTX 4080 graphics and the same aggressive ROG design language.

Zephyrus G14 and G16

On the slimmer side of the spectrum, the 2025 Zephyrus G14 and G16 models are all about mobility without performance trade-offs. Both have been refreshed with sleeker chassis, improved cooling, and up to AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS or Intel Core Ultra 9 CPUs. These laptops are aimed at gamers who also care about aesthetics and portability—think students, travelling professionals, and streamers on the go.

The Flow Z13, ASUS’s take on a detachable 2-in-1 gaming tablet, returns with more power packed into its convertible frame. It’s one of the few devices in the market that lets users switch between a traditional laptop and a tablet form factor while still running demanding titles smoothly.

ASUS has doubled down on thermals with revamped cooling solutions, including larger vapour chambers and improved airflow designs to keep temperatures under control during intense sessions. The company also says it has optimised battery life across the board and ensured all new ROG models are “AI-ready,” with hardware designed to support local AI workloads and acceleration.
