Schools all set to reopen amid Covid-19 in Andhra Pradesh

The Andhra Pradesh government has given its nod to reopen the schools partially from Monday, 21 September. However, students have been given a choice to attend the classes either physically or virtually. it means that the school students from classes 9th to 12th will have the choice to attend the classes in person or online from Monday.

As part of Unlock 4.0, the Central government permitted schools to start classes from Monday for classes ninth and above. Though the students are allowed to take a call on attending the classes in person or listen to them online, their decision should be endorsed by their parents or guardians in writing.

Meanwhile, students, teachers and schools have been instructed to adhere to all the Covid-19 guidelines for operation in a safe environment. Physical distancing, masks and sanitisers would be compulsory for all students, teachers and staff. those living in containment zones would not be all allowed. students should have written consent from their parents or guardian to attend school in person.
