Bollywood icon Salman Khan has reportedly received another threatening message, this time connected to a song that allegedly associates his name with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The latest threat, which follows a series of similar warnings over the past ten days, was sent to Mumbai’s traffic control room late Thursday night.
New Threat Over Song Lyric Sparks Concern
According to reports, the message referred to a song where both Salman and Bishnoi are mentioned, and it warned that the songwriter would soon be in a condition where he “won’t be able to make such songs anymore.” The message further challenged Salman, suggesting he try to “save them” if he could. Following this warning, authorities have heightened security measures for the actor.
A Tense Period for Bollywood with Rising Security Alerts
This recent threat marks the fourth that Salman Khan has received in just over a week, intensifying concerns about his safety. Notably, superstar Shah Rukh Khan also received a death threat shortly after his 59th birthday, compelling him to avoid his annual tradition of greeting fans outside his home, Mannat. The atmosphere has been tense, especially after the recent murder of politician Baba Siddique in Bandra, a close friend of Salman Khan. Siddique’s killing was later claimed by the Bishnoi gang, who cited his ties with the actor as their motivation.
A Long-Standing Feud with the Bishnoi Gang
The enmity between Salman Khan and the Bishnoi gang dates back to a 1998 incident during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain, when Salman allegedly hunted a blackbuck—an animal revered by the Bishnoi community. Lawrence Bishnoi, now in jail, has since made public declarations against the actor, demanding either an apology or retribution. These threats have escalated in recent months, adding to Salman’s security concerns and prompting authorities to remain vigilant.
