Road Safety Awareness Cell of Chandigarh Traffic Police conducted road safety campaign in Sector 25, Chandigarh. This session was an awareness session for the students of Center for Public Health organized in collaboration with their Department of Technology (UIET), and Regulation on Traffic Rules at the University Institute of Engineering. During this session, 50 students (boys and girls) and Dr. Komal Sehgal, Coordinator of Center for Public Health, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor of Center for Public Health, Dr. Hitesh Kapoor Coordinator Road Safety, UIET Sector 25 Professors /Faculty members were informed about the provisions. Special emphasis was laid on Motor Vehicles Driving Regulation 2017, Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Act 2019 and CMVR 1989. The same was given on the use of safety equipment i.e. helmet.
