Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon, accompanied by her daughter Rasha Thadani, offered prayers at the revered Kedarnath temple here on Tuesday. Upon reaching the Kedarnath temple, the actor took part in the Rudrabhishek puja, a sacred ritual.
Raveena was greeted warmly as she exited the Kedarnath shrine by admirers and visitors eager to take photographs with the Bollywood diva. She expressed her admiration for the arrangements made by the Shri Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee and was left spellbound by the natural beauty of Kedarnath Dham.
Raveena Tandon is renowned for her iconic roles in films like ‘Mohra,’ ‘Laadla,’ ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,’ ‘Dulhe Raja,’ ‘Anari No.1,’ ‘Ghulam-E-Mustafa,’ ‘Shool,’ ‘Patthar Ke Phool,’ and many more. In April, she was honoured with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award, by President Draupadi Murmu.
Raveena will soon be seen in the upcoming romantic-comedy film ‘Ghudchadi,’ alongside Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthan, and Khushali Kumar. She is also set to star in ‘Patna Shukla.’
Her daughter Rasha is set to make her Bollywood debut alongside Aaman Devgan in an Abhishek Kapoor-directed film, scheduled for release on February 9, 2024. The film has yet to be titled and is produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Pragya Kapoor.
