Actors and well-known B-town duo Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt took home the Best Actor trophy at the 69th Filmfare Awards. Ranbir was recognized for his work in the action thriller “Animal,” winning Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male).
Yet, Alia’s portrayal in the romance movie “Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” won her the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) award.

On stage, the pair could be seen posing with their awards.

‘Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’, directed by Karan Johar, featured Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Ranveer Singh in the key parts.
The movie is about a Bengali journalist named Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt) and a Punjabi businessman named Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer), who fall in love in spite of their differences and parental disapproval. Before getting married, they agree to spend three months living with each other’s families.

Ranbir plays Rannvijay Singh in the film “Animal,” which centers on a tumultuous father-son relationship. After his father is the target of an assassination attempt, Rannvijay Singh seeks revenge. At the box office, the movie brought in more than Rs 800 crore.

In relation to “Animal,” the movie is up for 19 awards this evening, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor.
2023’s “Animal,” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was a major box office success. On the other hand, its purported portrayal of misogyny also drew criticism.
Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor played the key characters in the movie.
