On Wednesday, the Ram Navami festivities commenced with the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, following the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony. A celestial phenomenon known as ‘Surya Tilak’ graced the occasion, briefly illuminating Lord Ram Lalla’s forehead. The state government has implemented extensive arrangements and heightened security measures to ensure the smooth conduct of the celebrations.

In anticipation of the increased devotee turnout, the temple opened its doors early in the morning and extended visiting hours until late at night. Additionally, offerings of ‘56 Bhog Prasad’ will be presented to Ram Lalla as part of the ceremonial observance.

During the ‘Surya Tilak’ ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya, devotees were granted access to witness the celestial event. Approximately 100 LEDs were installed by the temple trust, with an additional 50 provided by the government, all to enhance the grandeur of the Ram Navami celebrations. This setup allowed people to partake in the festivities from various locations.
