Friday marks the 2 years of construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya have been completed. On 5 August, 2020, PM Narendra Modi performed Shilapujan. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust shared the latest updates with media people on Friday. The superstructure of the temple started being built. The foundation and platform are already ready.

Speaking to the Daily Guardian, Jagdish Kumar, chief engineer of the trust, said, “The installation of pillars on the sanctum sanctorum of the temple will start in 1-2 days. The ground floor of the temple is to be completed by December 2023. Devotees will be able to see the full form of the temple until February 2024. “

Speaking to the Daily Guardian, Champat Rai, general secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that “At present, the construction of the sanctum sanctorum, plinth and retaining wall of the temple is going on in full swing,” he added

Ram Mandir Trust member Dr. Anil Mishra said, “The temple will be impregnable. The plinth construction of the temple on a foundation about 50 feet thick is almost complete. By the end of this month, the stones for the temple will be collected as per the map. The work will begin.” The administration is developing roads connecting to Ramjanmabhoomi, Saryu, and many other important places and temples. We have set a target of installing Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum of the grand temple by Makar Sankranti 2024, and we are moving in the right direction.

According to a trust member, a target has been set to complete the work on the first floor of the Ram temple by December 2023. In December 2023, Lord Shri Ram will be enshrined in his sanctum sanctorum.

The construction work of Ram Lalla’s temple is going on at full speed in Ayodhya. To ensure that there is no shortage, it has been decided that now, along with the day, the rocks will be carved in the night as well. A big shed is also being constructed for the same.

The plinth construction will be completed in the next month. At present, the seventh layer of plinth work is going on the sanctum sanctorum, in which the stones carved in Rajasthan are being fitted. After this, walls and pillars will be installed around the sanctum sanctorum. At present, the stones are being carved at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Workshop and Ramsevak Puram. As soon as the work starts in the sanctum sanctorum, the demand for rocks will increase. A 200-foot-long, 30-foot-wide, and 30-foot-high tin shed is being constructed in Ayodhya’s Ram Sevak Puram. They look like big halogens. About 50 artisans are carving beam stones in this complex. The artisans tell The Daily Guardian that with the new shed, the sculpting will be able to continue even at night. The work of carving the beam stones will be completed as soon as possible. More artisans and workers will be hired for the same.
