Rajkummar Rao is all set to essay the role of a PT teacher for his upcoming film Chhalaang releasing on Amazon Prime Video. Rajkummar reveals how before his acting career took off, he was a dramatics teacher at a school in Gurugram. He says, “The call centre had just started coming up in Gurugram and a lot of my friends had joined call centre jobs and I was not really good with language.” Rajkummar was thinking about a way of earning extra pocket money. He adds, “So I thought what should I do as everybody was making extra pocket money and I was in second-year college? Then I thought let me do what I love so joined a school called KV in sector 14, Gurugram and did one play for their annual day function. I was there for three months and focused on myself and learnt.” On why students loved him, Rajkummar says, “Students loved me as I was pretty much their age. There was not much of an age difference. So they treated me like a friend.”
