On Sunday, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge gave his immediate approval to the proposed nomination of the Chairman and Co-Chairman of the Central War Room for the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly Elections.
Sasikanth Senthil, a former IAS who is now in politics, has been chosen to lead the Central War Room.
With immediate effect, the Grand Old Party selected Captain Arvind Kumar, Lokesh Sharma, and Jaswant Gujar as Co-Chairmen.
Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, asserted on Saturday that the Bharatiya Janata Party summoned a special session of Parliament with the intention of starting a conflict between India and Bharat, but afterwards cancelled it and introduced the Women’s Reservation Bill.
“When the government called for the special session, there was no mention of the Women’s Reservation Bill. Discussions on changing the name of the country were doing rounds. They wanted to create a dispute between India and Bharat,” said Rahul Gandhi.
In Rajasthan, Rahul Gandhi held the worker’s conference to kick off his electoral campaign. He vowed during the Jaipur workers’ meeting that women’s reservations would be granted right away if the Congress party wins the national government.
at the meantime, on September 25 at the Dadiya village of Jaipur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver a speech to the Parivartan Sankalp Mahasabha.
This month’s ‘Parivartan Sankalp Yatra’ was introduced by the BJP in Jaipur.
The BJP was targeting the state assembly elections, hence the Yatra sought to connect with more than 1 crore people in the state by traveling over 9000 miles to 200 assembly districts in the state.
