The prolonged uncertainty surrounding the cabinet expansion of the Bhairon Lal government in Rajasthan continues, leaving state BJP leaders in the dark about the expansion date. Sources indicate a lack of consensus on the names of some MLAs, further delaying the process. Even the BJP state president, CP Joshi, is unable to specify the expansion day, mentioning it will occur soon, with details to follow. Meanwhile, party headquarters witnesses ongoing speculations, with MLAs lobbying for ministerial positions.
On Thursday, BJP state president CP Joshi addressed a press conference at the party’s state headquarters, criticizing the government during the announcement of Bhairon Lal’s decisions. However, he couldn’t provide clarity on the cabinet expansion. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhairon Lal Sharma, Joshi mentioned the BJP’s commitment to provide a gas cylinder for 450, as promised in the election manifesto. He highlighted the commencement of work on forming an Anti-Gangster Task Force and creating an ATS against paper leaks. Joshi emphasized the historic achievement of forming a majority government within two weeks, thanks to the people’s trust in PM Modi’s guarantee.
ERCP gained momentum after a double-engine government was formed in Rajasthan: CP Joshi
CP Joshi informed that after the establishment of the double-engine government, a crucial meeting of officials from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh took place in Delhi to boost ERCP. Progress is underway through the Vikasit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by Prime Minister Modi. The yatra, covering PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat, is setting records in Rajasthan.
Senior BJP leader Rajendra Rathore, commenting on the cabinet expansion, mentioned that the pains of the expansion process are nearing completion. The BJP’s working method involves selecting the best among the best, a process that the leadership is diligently fulfilling. Representing all sections in the Rajasthan cabinet based on various criteria has nearly concluded.
Rathore suggested that the cabinet could be formed within a few hours.
