In a significant monthly meeting of the Sarpanch Association Block Raipur Rani on Monday, chaired by Block Head Ravindra Chaudhary at the BDPO office in Raipur Rani, Sarpanches raised concerns about the backlog of work due to a shortage of employees in Panchayati Raj.
They announced plans for the Sarpanch Association Committee to meet with the CEO of Zilla Parishad soon to discuss village development. Sarpanches highlighted that the lack of timely marking is impeding the progress of development work in villages.
The meeting saw the participation of various Sarpanches, including Ravindra Pyarewala, Mukhraj Gobindpur, Rakesh Sharma Hangola, Sunil Rana Haripur, Dalip Nambardar Raipur Rani, Madan Rana Natwal, Baljit Saini, Tibbi Majra, Naseem Sultanpur, Kamil Rehna, Mahipal Garhi, Bharat Bhushan Bagwali, Ajay Prajha, Subhash Masampur, Ashu Mauli, Aman Deep Sarkpur, Bhim Singh Behbal Pur, Sher Singh Ratatibi, Karmjit Narayan Pur, Ajaib Singh Shahpur, Jasmer Saini Tabar, Subhash Masoompur, Pawan Saini Dandrol, Bant Singh Samlehadi, Tara Chand Kajampur, Sanjeev Ganauli, Ramkumar Samanva, and others.
The meeting addressed crucial issues affecting village development and showcased the active involvement of local leaders in addressing challenges for community progress.
Sarpanches seek clarity on e-tendering
Panchkula: Sarpanches present in the meeting raised questions on e-tendering and said that e-tendering is done for development work in the village but the contractor who gets the work does not start the work on time. Due to which the image of Sarpanches in the village is getting tarnished.
