The CUET is a nationwide entrance test for undergraduate programmes participating in top universities for concerned courses. The aspirants before CUET had to appear for several tests during the same time frame to achieve seats in the desired program. This made preparing for the exam a lot more tedious. So, to help the aspirants out, NTA introduced CUCET. This is a common exam for all partaking universities administered by the NTA.

However, the UGC changed the exam’s name from CUCET to CUET. Over 500 places in India and other countries host the test annually. UGC first gave this test in paper-and-pencil style. The test is two hours long and was given by the Nation Testing Agency (NTA) in a computer-based manner beginning last year. Along with Bihar Hindu University, many other national reputed universities partake in this exam to pick their candidates.

BHU CUET exam pattern

The most current CUET 2022 modifications state that the admission test will now get split into two sessions. For the first slot, students are allotted 45–125 minutes, and for the second, 45–225 minutes. All candidates who answered the question will earn five marks if any alternatives or

questions get deemed wrong. Candidates are able to complete the CUET 2022 test in two separate periods on different days, depending on the courses they have chosen. There are four exams in Slot 1 during the morning shift. One General Test in Section III and a minimum of 2 domain-specific topics from Section II may get selected. The CUET 2022 shift 2 tests will allow candidates to appear for up to five examinations in the afternoon.

Details about each section in the CUET question paper

Candidates can select up to three languages for Sections IA and IB in the CUET BHU questions. There must be a domain-specific language. A student who wants to pursue a bachelor’s degree in a language can only take five tests across five distinct subject areas. The exam’s language portion will spend most of its time examining a student’s comprehension of both facts and literary passages. This part will also evaluate the learner’s vocabulary and literary skills. Participants receive 45 minutes to react to a minimum of 40 of 50 questions in their chosen languages. The language section’s minimum passing marks range from 80 to 90 for each student.

Domain-specific section

In this section, students can select up to 6 domains out of a list of 27 disciplines, except for the opportunity to take three languages. On each domain-specific topic test, students must complete a minimum of 40 of 50 questions in order to pass. There is a 45-minute time restriction for each domain-subject test. The various test parts will only consist of questions starting from Class 12.

General aptitude

The general test will evaluate a candidate’s general knowledge, current affairs knowledge, general mental ability, math abilities, and quantitative thinking. The examination’s 75 queries must get responded to in 60 minutes by the scholars. Like division II, a student must score between 120 and 135 points to pass this level.

How does BHU decide the Cut-off?

The CUET BHU Exam Cut-Off 2022 will shortly become public by the examination board. Immediately after the exam starts, the Board will announce the cut-off time. The
