Strong US-India Ties

Quad’s Non-Security Focus

Commenting on China’s recent aggressive behavior, including an attack on a Philippine Coast Guard aircraft, Macleod stated, “Our US government clearly said that the People’s Republic of China government shouldn’t do such acts.” She emphasized that the Quad’s goal is to ensure secure maritime borders for all Indo-Pacific nations.
