The creators of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ have at last revealed the debut single ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ featuring Allu Arjun.

Taking to X, Mythri Movie Makers treated fans with the lyrical song video and captioned the post, “Cheer and celebrate the arrival of PUSHPA RAJ with the #PushpaPushpa chant.”

In the video, Pushpa Raj, also known as Allu Arjun, showcases stylish dance moves while holding a glass of tea in one hand. The clip concludes with Pushpa’s memorable dialogue ‘Jhukega nahi S***’ (won’t bow down) and Allu’s shoulder shrug.

Music director Devi Shri Prasad, who previously won a National Award for the music of Pushpa 1: The Rise, has once again crafted this track for the new song. The song has been released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali languages. Devi Shri Prasad has enlisted popular singers including Nakash Aziz, Deepak Blue, Mika Singh, Vijay Prakash, Ranjith Govind, and Timir Biswas to lend their voices to the respective versions of the song.

The film’s creators recently released the teaser of Pushpa Raj, also known as Allu Arjun, on the Superstar’s birthday.

Making birthday more special, Allu Arjun took to X and wrote, “I thank each and everyone of you for the birthday wishes! My heart is full of gratitude. Please take this teaser as my way of saying thank you!”

Directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil alongside Allu Arjun. The teaser depicts Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj in a fresh portrayal, where he, dressed in a saree, confronts and defeats adversaries in his signature Pushpa style.

The footage showcases the Jaathara sequence from the movie. Jaathara, also recognized as Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara, commemorates the Hindu Tribal goddesses and is observed in the state of Telangana, India. This four-day festival draws over 10 million devotees annually.

Renowned director Sukumar has meticulously recreated the Jaathara in the film, and the teaser provides only a brief glimpse of this grand and intricate sequence. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2024. Allu Arjun, the film’s lead, earned a National Film Award for his portrayal in the first installment.

Directed by Sukumar, the first installment of Pushpa depicted power struggles amidst the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling. Rashmika Mandanna also stars in a significant role in the film.
