Ahead of the Assembly Elections in Punjab, many leaders are coming down to Punjab for campaigning. For the Hoshiarpur seat of BJP, Kapil Mishra, ex MLA from Delhi and BJP leader campaigned for Tikshan Sud.

“Aam Aadmi Party like drug ‘Chitha’ after which the victim regains consciousness when everything belonging to him is plundered. Here Victim is Punjab and Chitha is Aam Aadmi Party,” said Kapil Mishra.

Kapil Mishra told The Daily Guardian, “People of Punjab shall recall Covid-19 times, How Delhi people had to suffer Oxygen shortage on AAP lies, people of Punjab shall ask AAP regarding Delhi riots, which minister’s home was used to keep petrol bombs. Aam Aadmi Party had destroyed Delhi and now they wish to destroy this border state. I came here to urge Punjab people not to fall into their trap”.

From the district Hoshiarpur, veteran BJP leader Tikshan Sud has been given the ticket. Sud was in the news last year due to his face-off with farmers during the farmers’ agitation. Several farmer leaders had dumped dung outside his doorstep for his statement which had not gone down well with farmers. Tikshan has won the Hoshiarpur Assembly seat twice. He, however, faced defeat in 2012 and 2017.

On the Other hand, in Chandigarh, The Bharatiya Janata Party today lashed out at the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party for indulging in competitive corruption by selling tickets to seat aspirants. “Everything wrong that can be imagined, whether communalism or corruption, is taking place in the circles of Congress and the AAP and has been revealed by their own leaders”, the union minister and the BJP Election in-charge for Punjab, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said here on Friday.

Referring to the Congress Rajya Sabha Member and former PCC President Shamsher Singh Dhullo’s letter to the Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Shekhawat said, the party has crossed all the records in corruption and has now been completely exposed. This, he added, is beside the seizure of Rs ten crores from the nephew of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi.

“Earlier it was the PCC president Navjot Sidhu, who leveled serious allegations of corruption against the own party now another senior leader and a former PCC president have come on record with similar charges”, the BJP leader pointed out, while asking, “imagine how it can be possible for anyone who has purchased his ticket after paying a hefty sum of crores of rupees, to remain honest after getting elected?”

Shekhawat also lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party for being equally corrupt, in allocating tickets. Referring to the former Ferozepur Rural AAP candidate Ashu Banger’s, who later joined the Congress, allegations that he was asked for money and the allegations by Jalandhar AAP leaders against Raghav Chadha for taking money for tickets, the BJP leader said, this was the party that claimed change and clean government, while it sold tickets to candidates.

He said the Bharatiya Janata Party was the only party with a neat and clean record with zero tolerance to corruption. The union minister dared Congress and the AAP to come clean on these allegations and deny the same.
