Anmol Gagan Mann, the Minister of Punjab Tourism, Cultural Affairs, Labour, Hospitality, and Investment Promotion, affirmed the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government to public welfare.
While participating in the Chhinj fair at Mata Singha Devi’s site in Ward No. 2 and 3 of Naya Gaon, he expressed dedication to fulfilling the expectations and aspirations of the people of Punjab. After seeking blessings at the holy site of Mata Singha Devi, he stated that the government’s formation was centered on serving the people, and continuous efforts are being made to meet their needs.
Highlighting the government’s achievements, Anmol Gagan Mann mentioned the fulfillment of the promise to provide free domestic electricity to nearly 90 percent of Punjab’s residents, resulting in zero electricity bills for many. He further emphasized the establishment of Aam Aadmi Clinics and Schools of Eminence to enhance health and education. Additionally, he announced relief for individuals facing the threat of displacement or legal actions due to involvement in illegal colonies.
The Chief Minister of Punjab celebrated the end of the OC condition, providing significant relief to lakhs of people. He assured resolution for those residing in areas where houses were at risk of demolition due to illegal encroachments on forest land. The Ghar Ghar Free Ration Scheme was introduced to offer free ration to every eligible person holding a smart ration card. Anmol Gagan Mann conveyed that the government is reinstating smart ration cards that were cut for various reasons.
Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve the area through votes, the Tourism Minister disclosed the initiation of development works worth Rs 75 lakh based on drawn plans. Additionally, he pledged Rs 2 lakh to the Chhinj Committee during the event.
