The Punjab Educational Tribunal has dealt a blow to the management committee of S.P.N. College, Mukerian. A crucial decision in favor of Professor Dr. Lakhvinderjeet Kaur has been made. According to the information, the Punjab Educational Tribunal has ordered the college to pay the pending dues to Professor Dr. Lakhvinderjeet Kaur and recognize her as a faculty member.

As per the details, the college will pay approximately 20 to 21 lakh rupees in dues to Professor Dr. Lakhvinderjeet Kaur. It has also been stated that the teacher’s salary, including allowances, should be paid within three months. Additionally, the Punjab Educational Tribunal has mentioned that if the amount is not paid within three months, the college will have to pay a 6% interest on the specified amount. The decision of the Punjab Educational Tribunal has been welcomed by the United College Teachers Association (Punjab and Chandigarh), stating that it is a victory for the teaching fraternity.
