A man was allegedly kidnapped by a habitual offender who is currently on trial for a number of snatching and stealing cases and compelled him to join the gang and engage in the same illegal acts.

When the victim, named Pappu Sahni (29), an employee of a scrap dealer, refused to comply with the accused, he was imprisoned and attacked. The victim was able to flee and called the police. According to reports, an FIR has been filed against the defendants, who have been named as Rohit, Panda, Vicky Hathodi, and three additional individuals whose identities have not yet been revealed.

Shami claimed that the accused frequently visited the junk dealer shop where he worked. Reportedly, the accused and his aides showed up at the store on October 2 and requested Shami to join them at a gas station before pushing him into a car.

Then they coerced him into joining the gang and carrying out their robberies and kidnappings. When the victim refused, the accused was confined for a day in Vicky Hathodi’s house. Later, they transferred him to the homes of the other accused, where they attacked him until he was able to flee on Friday.
