A day after his cabinet colleague Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa tested positive for Covid-19, Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh too underwent the tests, which came out to be negative. He also urged all ministers, MLAs and senior government officials to get themselves tested for coronavirus.

During the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Captain Amarinder urged all the ministers and officials in various departments, especially those who might have come in contact with the IAS/PCS officers who were infected with the coronavirus, to get themselves tested.

Bajwa was doing well, the CM informed the meeting, reiterating the need for extreme caution by all the ministers and others engaged in any kind of public dealing.
