After the transfer of an IPS Officer Dhruman H Nimbale who got transferred to Muktsar Sahib from Hoshiarpur. This transfer created a major criticism against Aam Aadmi Party and a stir on social media.

Nimbale is the IPS officer who busted a mining gang and seized 1.53 crore in Hoshiarpur and also had done 100 FIRs against the miscreants of the mining mafia.

Punjab Senior Congress leader Partap Singh Bajwa has expressed surprise at the recent transfer of the Hoshiarpur SSP and tweeted, “Instead of Badlav as promised by AAP the officer is awarded with Badli. The SSP of Hoshiarpur is transferred after seizing Rs. 1.53 Cr. and breaking a sand mining gang. Surprising”.

After the first reshuffle of 13 SSPs by the AAP government, now 10 DCs of Punjab were reshuffled. This too had raised tension amongst the bureaucrats of Punjab.

The Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab on Saturday issued transfer and posting orders of DCs of 10 districts with immediate effect. Under this order, Amritsar DC Gurpreet Singh Khaira has been replaced as DC of Shri Muktsar Sahib, while Patiala DC Sandeep Hans has been changed to Hoshiarpur, Pathankot DC Sanyam Agarwal has been replaced as Malerkotla DC.

Apart from this, Shri Muktsar Sahib DC Harpreet Singh Sudan has been posted as Amritsar, Faridkot DC Harbir Singh has been posted as Pathankot, Special Secretary General Administration Amit Talwar has been posted as DC, SAS Nagar.

Additional Secretary Coordination Sakshi Sahni has been posted as DC, Patiala. Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Amritsar Ruhi Dugga has been posted as DC, Faridkot, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Patiala Preeti Yadav has been posted as DC, Ropar and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) SAS Nagar Himanshu Agarwal has been posted as DC, Fazilka.

Apart from these, orders for the appointment of IAS officers Sonali Giri, Isha, Babita, Madhavi Kataria, and Apneet Riyat will be issued later.
