The techie recounted to TOI that the incident took place after they had gone to Bhukum near Bhugaon for dinner with friends. “Our pet was with us, and we took the route through Nande to get back to our home in Sus.”
“While returning around 1:30 AM on Sunday, we noticed a group of individuals standing by the roadside. Some were wielding iron rods and demanded that I stop the car, but I refused. Suddenly, two motorcycles began to pursue us, with the riders brandishing iron rods, urging us to stop and striking our vehicle.”
