Harbhajan Singh, former Indian spinner, expressed on Friday that the day of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya would be a historic occasion, urging people to participate in large numbers. Speaking to ANI in Dubai, Singh conveyed his good wishes, stating, “My good wishes to the people of the country. The Pran Pratishtha is going to take place. As many people as possible should join the event and seek blessings. It is a historic day. Lord Ram belongs to everyone. It is a big thing that the temple of Lord Ram is being constructed at his birthplace. Everyone should go.”

He also confirmed his plan to visit the temple, emphasizing his strong belief in religion and God. Singh mentioned his practice of visiting temples, mosques, and gurudwaras to seek blessings, expressing his intent to visit the temple whenever possible. He acknowledged the significance of the temple’s inauguration during his lifetime and congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leading the construction.

Responding to the Congress’s accusation of the BJP using the temple ceremony for “political motives,” Singh remarked, “It is a different matter. But the right thing is that the temple is being inaugurated.”

As Ayodhya bustles with excitement for the upcoming Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lala at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi on January 22, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inspected the arrangements, expressing satisfaction with the planning and execution. The idol of Ram Lalla was joyously placed in the ‘Garbha Griha’ of the Ram Temple, preceded by a special puja in the sanctum sanctorum and the idol’s placement with the aid of a crane on Wednesday night.

The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya’s temple is scheduled for January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead the rituals to mark the ‘Pran Pratishtha,’ with a team of priests, headed by Lakshmikant Dixit, overseeing the main ceremonies.
