Mondal, a resident of Shyamnagar, was the victim of post-poll violence on 2 May. His son was the president of booth number 161. One accused named Ratan Haldar surrendered in Barakpur court in September last year. In October, the CBI arrested six people in connection with the incident. In October, the CBI first sent notices to the six people. Following the notice, they met at the Salt Lake CGO Complex. They were interrogated by investigators. There were several inconsistencies in their statements. At that time the police arrested seven people.

But these two women have not been found yet. This time, the CBI announced a large sum of money. The CBI team will be visiting districts to investigate post-poll violence. A few days ago, the CBI team also visited the North 24 Parganas. The CBI raided the house of a TMC supporter in the wake of the post-poll violence. The investigation into the murder has been going on for a long time.

Incidentally, the CBI has announced a reward to catch the accused involved in the case of Akash Yadav, who was killed in the post-poll violence in Jagddal. On 2 May, miscreants shot and killed him with the butt of a gun.
