Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the kidnapping case of Akhilesh Singh, a Uttar Pradesh native in Meghalaya, by speaking to Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma over the phone on Thursday.
On thursday evening, CM Yogi requested Sangma for the safe return of Akhilesh Singh, a resident of Beniganj on Kursi Road, Lucknow, who works as a heavy vehicle mechanic and supervisor for a construction company operating in South Garo Hills, Meghalaya.
Following the abduction of Akhilesh Singh (49) in the South Garo Hills of Meghalaya, the contractor contacted Akhilesh’s wife, Sheela Singh, to inform her about the incident. Expressing concern over her husband’s safety, Sheela Singh has reached out to the governments of Uttar Pradesh and Meghalaya for assistance.
