Haryana CM Khattar, all cabinet ministers resigns; swearing in ceremony at 1 pm

Sources indicate that the BJP government in Haryana, led by Manohar Lal Khattar, is poised to terminate its alliance with Dushyant Chautala’s Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) in anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

It is reported that Manohar Lal Khattar has visited the governor’s residence and tendered his resignation along with the entire state Cabinet. BJP MLAs are expected to arrive at the Raj Bhavan by 1 pm on Tuesday. There are suggestions that the saffron party might explore the possibility of establishing a new government with the support of six Independent legislators.
